“I sit here and ponder my heritage, my history. While I have a deep love for my country, I can’t help but feel disconnected from it at the same time”
Hiraeth is a radio drama that explores the diasporic nature of moving away from home, and the memories we associate with these places.
Using a combination of verbatim and fictional writings Hiraeth tells the personal stories of those who have left and the fragmented story of Welsh poet Ellis Evans (Hedd Wyn) during his final days at the third battle of Passchendaele during the First World War.
